INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Janet Evanovich, the "most popular mystery writer alive" (The New York Times), is in top form as she sends Stephanie Plum on the trail of a stolen stash of dirty... This description may be from another edition of this product.
First of all, I doubt Janet wrote this. It started off with a lie...(Line 1...Stephanie Plum, Rutgers graduate...). Steph never went to nor graduated from Rutgers. The transgressions went on throughout the book, the characters were flat and boring, not at all consistent with past books or Janet's writing style. It's as if someone took Janet's outline and just put a bunch of words on paper, without researching, or even reading, the past 33 (including between the #'s) books. This was just a pathetic effort to sell books. Janet should have quit while she was ahead, about book 25.
(Spoiler Alert: Now or Never is even worse, totally inconsistent with past history of Plum & friends, and book 32 is apparently on the way. My prediction for book #32 is that, since
Steph married Morelli, she will be pregnant and there will be questions that the baby is Rangers).
This series should have ENDED with Dirty Thirty!!!
