Stinging!!!!

This is a haunting and somewhat frightening novel I reccomend it to everybody!!!

This book will make your skin crawl!

This terrifying horror novel about teenage girl who finds herself guinea pig in a madman's chilling experiment will make your skin crawl and chill your blood! This is most frightening book Saul has ever written and you will about this book any time you see a bee!

These are no ordinary bugs

This is one of John Saul's best books. I really enjoyed this book. It is creepy in some ways and is one of the best books I've ever read. I hope that there will be a sequal.

Excellent book!

This book is about about this scientist who's made it his life's mission to avenge the suffering his older sister caused him in childhood, by bringing unmerciful death to any and every girl he comes across who resembles her. When Karen Spellman comes to town with her daughters Molly and Julie(who holds an uncanny resemblance to Carl's sister) Carl at one point attacks her in rage. She ends up bieng stung by poisoness bees. Instead of injecting her with the proper anti-venom...Carl uses a mixture of his own, and then unleashes an evil being of it's own inside of her, which she passes on to other teens as terror slowly begins to spread through the once peaceful town. I read The Homing when I was 13, and it was the first book over 300 pages that actually kept my attention! The plot was gripping and delightfully bone-chilling John's exquisite writing sucks you right into the core of it all. The characters are memorable and very well defined. The words are hypnotic and each page keeps you engrossed until you find yourself at the end. I loved this book! I think it would also make a real neat movie. I would definitely recomend this book to anyone who wanted a good supernatural dark horror. You can check it out at your local library...I guarentee you won't be disappointed!

Great!

I thought the Homing was just great. It was a carefully, constructed novel, that had took a little from every genre. A little medical suspense, a bit of classic horror, some sci-fi, and a dash of psychological suspense. Great book, with a fast moving plot, and characters that you actually care about. I loved it!
