My first John Saul book

I worked at a camp ground and found this book one night. It was missing the cover but I started reading it. I could not put it down and read it in one night. That started my love of John Saul books.

Scared out of my wits!

I am a HUGE John Saul fan. I began reading his books when I was about 9. I devoured every book of his I could get my hands on. Some nights, I'd find myself borrowing a night light as I was a little afriad to go to sleep in the darkness. After reading this book, I slept curled up on the floor of my sister's room. Just recently I re-read this book to see if it scared me the same. Once I finished, I called my boyfriend and made him stay the night even though he had to work the next day. This book is captivating, addicting, haunting, and engrossing. It will scare you, not in a jump out of your chair way, but in the little prickles running up your neck sort of way. It stays with you for awhile... Enjoy, if you dare...

Great! Wonderful!

I bought this book three days ago and from that moment on I couldn't put it off. I have just finished the book and I am still in shock! It's one of the best books I have ever read! It's full of frightenin' at the same time creepy events! It was like my hands nailed to the book! I recommend it to everyone who loves horror! It also has a very good ending! Something very different from what I thought! It was brilliant.

Amazing Book

John Saul has done it again with this amazing book. I could not put it down. John Saul takes you into the troubled minds of the Devereaux women with many twists and turns. The last words of the book are both thrilling and chilling.

The best book I ever read.

John Saul's best work, prior to the Blackstone Chronicles. This story is very suspensful and draws the reader into the story. Not to mention somewhat hair raising.I could not put it down. I read the whole book in one afternoon.

It's a book you can't stop reading...

As all other John Saul books, The Unloved is a book that you simply can't stop reading and before you'll notice, you're through... John Saul has the instincts to drag you in his books and make you part of his stories. Reading this book is living a wonderful (and scary) experience...
