Awesome Artwork

The Devil Within is about a girl who thinks that men are devils and boys are angels. She does not date men because of this fear. Yet, she hangs out with younger boys. One day after school, her dad says that he wants her to get married. He wants a grandson to inherit his fortune. Rion (the high school girl, main character) is disgusted. How could her father do this to her? He presents her with 3 men. They all try giving reasons of why she should pick them to marry. They all want to marry her, but not for Rion. They simply want money and power. That is exactly what they would get if they married her. Rion doesn't like any of them, although they try to be nice, for the most part. Her wicked father even gave them keys to her bedroom and a apartment key! What hell is this that I am living on?

It's not so bad.

I wouldn't rate this manga as bad as some people but I wouldn't rate it the full five stars because it most certainly isn't the best manga out there. I happened to enjoy it, it was an entertaining read. I found it funny and interesting. I would never take it seriously or anything but it still had small quirks that made it rather unique. I have to admit I'm not the most normal of people, I say that because it's a different kind of manga that only certain people could enjoy. If your open minded and have a weird sense of humor I would recommend this manga to you. And if you liked the way the summary sounded, it would proably suit you. But again I say its not the best of shojou's, so I would only buy it if I had extra money. I personally will buy the second volume.

Disturbed schoolgirl vs. Hot Bishi x4

I was first drawn to this manga by the artwork. I'm no artist, so I won't offer a critique on the style, but I like it. As for plot, yes, it's disturbing that a teenage girl would go ga-ga over pre-pubescent boys, but then, the popular "Lolita Complex" storylines are basically the same. Her aversion to mature men, however, would make interesting fodder for psychiatrists, as she has allowed a traumatic childhood experience competely control her life. Her adopted father, a sadistic, conniving, sly man, and also the reason for her current mental state, suddenly reappears, demanding she choose one among three brothers as her fiance. I found this highly suspicious, as he gives no explanation why it should be out of these three in particular. However, the ensuing pursual by these three bishi is highly entertaining. Each has something about him that piques her curiosity, and somtimes also convinces her of their vileness. They do succeed, however, in providing her with a reason to question her prejudice. The georgeous men are reason enough to read this, and while the handling of the plot is a bit awkward at times, it's not half bad. I intend to keep reading the series to see where it goes.

Teen Drama

This story is about a girl who believes that all men are devils. Reason being is some traumatizing childhood experience she had. Well, her father is trying to marry her to three guys where she has to choose one, but before she officially met them she ran into a young boy and almost immediately falls head-over-heels for him. So she has to try to fight off the three future finaces and try to win the love of the young buy. I have not completed the entire manga, but so far the drama has kept my interest.
