I have written many volumes. I have watched many people struggle. And I have arrived at a conviction that will not leave me: every human problem is, at its root, a problem of function. The unemployed man does not need a job. He needs the restoration of his functional assignment. The sick body does not need a prescription. It needs the restoration of cellular function. The troubled marriage does not need a counselor. It needs the restoration of covenantal function. Every solution is a refunctioning.
This book is the theological anchor for a framework I have developed across many years: Double Function, Gain of Function, Truncation of Function. Here they are consolidated, systematized, and wrapped in the ultimate truth - that Christ Himself is the Ultimate Solution because Christ Himself is the Refunctioning Lord.
