Saddle Bum: Screenplay & Synopsis

By Verland T Whipple

He came looking for work. He found a war.

When a nameless drifter takes a job sweeping floors in the cattle town of Dry Ridge, he stumbles into a range war years in the making - the Bannister brothers ruling through fear, small ranchers losing everything, and a debt of blood no one has been able to collect. But the drifter isn't quite what he seems, and before it's over, the whole town will know his name.

A tightly wound Western screenplay of revenge, disguise, and reckoning on the open range.
