Gray's Will: Screenplay & Synopsis

By Verland T Whipple

A father's final test. A winner-take-all race across the desert. Only one brother walks away with everything.

When George Kendrick Gray dies, he leaves his two estranged sons a fortune - and a condition. Jefferson and Clifford Gray must race each other across a stretch of desert with no food, no water, and no help. First one across wins it all. The other gets nothing.

Jefferson has love waiting for him on the other side. Clifford has debts, a loan shark, and nothing left to lose. Neither brother can afford to trust the other - and as the desert strips away everything but instinct, the race turns into something far more dangerous than a test of endurance.

How far would you go for everything? How far would your own brother go against you?

Gray's Will is a previously unproduced screenplay by Verland T Whipple, presented here as a screenplay & synopsis edition, faithfully preserving the author's original scene-by-scene structure and dialogue.
