Chosen Prey: Screenplay & Synopsis

By Verland T Whipple

When Karen Brooks' car breaks down on a remote canyon road, she and her young son Corey have nowhere to turn but to her uncle Will Ramsey's isolated ranch - the one place she thought was far enough away to be safe.

It isn't.

Somebody has followed them. Somebody who cuts the power, ties up the neighbors, and starts picking off anyone who gets between him and what he's come for. Somebody Karen thought she'd left behind for good.

Will Ramsey is no stranger to danger - he's a war veteran who knows how to survive when the odds turn against him. But nothing has prepared him for an enemy this patient, this savage, or this determined. As the hunt moves from the ranch house into the rugged canyon wilderness beyond, Will discovers that stopping this man may mean becoming the very thing he's hunting.

Chosen Prey is a tense, blood-and-dust survival thriller about what a family will do to protect its own - and what happens when the hunter and the hunted trade places.

This edition presents Verland T Whipple's original, unproduced screenplay in its full shooting-script format, together with a complete plot synopsis.
