This one has everything you expect or want from Stony Man, and then some. The characterizations are not only spot on but allow each character to shine on their own. Their is action galore and it never lets up or drags. Highly recommended--especially the audio version from the cutting corporation!

I don't usually care for series like this. I'm career military and I can tell when the approach is faked or trumped up or exaggerated. Doom Prophecy was more of a straight-up adventure novel, with surprisingly good characterization, particularly with the villians and great action scenes. The more s.f. elements fit very well and I could easily picture this book being the basis for a big-budget action movie. I doubt I'll ever...
