Another Great Magic Book

I loved The Gathering Dark and I wasn't sure if Grubb could do it again. However, right from the start, the story reels you in and doesn't let go. A great addition to the Ice Age trilogy, highly recommended.

Really Good

This book was really good, and became an essential part to the Trilogy. It finally explains the Kjeldorans and Balduvians and about their part of the Ice Age. Although this book is not as good as the other two, I enjoyed it very much. It was a great introduction for the final and best addition to the trilogy. The entire series is an awe inspiring work of writing.

Greater than before

I read this book first then Book I of the trilogy (sorta got me confused but i figured it out). This book was realy good from the start but it does leave you geussing how he became an Eternal though. The book tells you about the struggle Jodah has, from rembering who he is to fighting a great evil army, over coming great odds. I recomend this book and every book in the trilogy (or else your just lost wondering things).

Another Hit

Grubb is the master. This book is at least as good if not better than the previous book in the series, "The Gathering Dark" (see my review on that book). It is another book that you just can't put down. It continues the story of Jodah as an adult of great age (around two thousand years). The only bad feature in the book is the time gap between Jodah as a mageling in the time of the Conclave of Mages to Jodah being two thousand years old and known as the Archmage Eternal at the City of Shadows (now The School of the Unseen on the islan of Lat-Nam). It also offers a new evil mage Lim Dul. And it ties in with the Magic The Gathering edition Ice Age really well. Simple vocab and sentence structure, but still very exciting.

Jeff Grubb did it again!

Jeff Grubb is possibly the best Magic the gathering writer. Now about the book, this book continues the story of Jodah. This book is much later in time than the Gathering Dark but do your self the favor and read that book first I have a review there too. Lim-Dul calls Jodah back from the dead or so it seems.....some strage student shows up and the truth un folds......I won't tell you anymore. I almost reccomend this MORE for a person who has never really played the game. Jeff did it agian!
