Imagine you are approached by an AI generated moderator to participate in what would become a documentary funded by a nameless "client" and expected to answer some of the most profound questions ever to be thrown at you. Because of the diverse nature of the group, some answers are philosophical, others scientific and fact-based, others theoretical. And some questions leave them speechless. When the exercise is done, the eleven participants from across the globe are promised to learn the why and the who of this experience. For Finn Baas, a Dutch journalist, and his pseudo girlfriend, Evi van der Meer, a professional model, life comes into clearer focus during the course of the documentary. As the story centers primarily on their relationship, they (and we the reader) are gifted with the answer to "what is this focus group all about, really? Instead of an apocalyptic forecast about the future of humanity, this is one of hope, of inspiration, and an opportunity for us as a race to get it together once and for all - moreover, with an unexpected ending which no one saw coming.
