Walk on the dark side

Her Galahad is an emotional rollercoaster that leaves you slightly breathless.The things that have happened to the characters in the past aren't pretty, but the hero and heroine have the strength to fight their way out of betrayal and triumph over acts of terror. I found this journey through darkness to a happy ending emotionally satisfying. If you want to take a walk on the dark side of love, this novel is a must.

Wonderful Read

It's a fasinating love story. It really makes me want to search out more books about Austrailia. I'd like to find more books from Melissa James too. She immediately pulls the reader into the mystery. Jirrah has his job cut out for him helping Tessa. It soon becomes apparent their destiny is to be together. Wonderful book. Lots of emotion and well written.

Great book! And it's based on truth!

Wow! I just found out this book is based on a true story. It's hard for those of us in the United States to imagine such things could be possible. (although we've had some bad stuff in our checkered past as well) But this tale of prejudice, lies and lost love is based on things that actually happened in Australia.For a first book, Ms. James has given us a real treat in THE RESCUE DOWN UNDER. She has a strong, bold voice and is a treat to read. I can't wait for her next book!

I loved the story and the characters, and I'm looking forward to more from Ms James.
