A brilliant powerful story not to be missed

This is a story about a man whose wife has been missing for three years; a man desperately trying to hold his family together. His three children experience guilt, confusion, anger, and sadness as they try to understand why their mother walked out one day and never came back. The family lives in limbo, waiting for any word of what has happened to their missing family member. After three years of waiting, Noah finally moves his children to a new town hoping it will help them heal and move forward with their lives while they continue their wait. The family's new neighbour - a woman, a mother, whose precious child died from a disease for which she was an unknown carrier. A woman whose husband left because he couldn't deal with their child's illness. It's been eighteen months since Jennifer's dear son died. Her grief for her sweet child never ending as she tries to carry on with her life, putting one foot in front of the other, while taking care of other people's children, knowing she can never have another child. This is a brilliant powerful story of healing. Melissa James writes characters that are so real that you feel you've met them and been a part of their lives. As you read this story, you realize there could never be anyone other than Noah and Jennifer who could have made this romance work. A Mother in a Million is a rich story that won't disappoint. Definitely one for the keeper shelf.
