Just One More Notch

By Des Dunn

In "Just One More Notch", legendary Western author Des Dunn, writing as Gunn Halliday, delivers a powerful story of homecoming, redemption, and the heavy price of a reputation. Fresh out of Mooney Jail after three long years, Cole Maddison returns to a home that has branded him an outcast.

Stepping back into a world of heat-seared draws and rocky slopes, Cole finds that the town's memory is long and unforgiving. He is a man caught between the "bastard" the town believes him to be and the man he wants to become. As he navigates a landscape of old grudges and new dangers, Cole must confront the powerful Jeremy Wendell and fight for the future he nearly lost.

Featuring a stirring romance with the spirited Lillian Wendell, this classic Western explores whether a man can truly outrun his past or if he's destined for just one more notch on his gun.
