The Best Book in the World

I really loved this book a lot. I reccommend this book to anyone who likes books that are pretty scary. This book is good for kids from 8-12 years old. In this book Jack has a friend named Mia who he really likes. Jack also has a rival named Wilson who always tries to beat him to impress Mia. Wilson always does seem to beat Jack at everything. His dog wins, he gets better grades, and Wilson even beats Jack when they race. At Mia's birthday part Jack gets Mia a CD from her favorite band. Then Wilson gives her tickets to the same band concert and Jack gets really mad. Later the kids play Twister and Jack rips his pants. He runs away from the party and while he his hiding in a deserted house he finds a book that shows humans flying. To find out what Jack does with the book read How I Learned to Fly.

One of my favorite Goosebumps books

Even though this isn't scary at all, the unusual plot makes this book very fascintating to read. I mean, how many books are out there that are about a kid who actually learns to fly? I like it a lot, and the ending is nice, too, since the main character Jack actually wins. The only thing I wish is that the book was longer, and/or had a sequel.

How I learned to Fly:

As the Goosebumps series came to a close, they were more odd twisted tales then scary stories. And this one is NO exception. But it is nevertheless a good book, just don't expect to get scared out of your pants!!! Jack Johnson is a 12yrs chasing a beautifuk girl, the only problem is, is the other boy chasing her Wilson Schlame an egotistical(full of himself)boy who thinks he's the best and is pretty much better at everything between him and Jack. One day after being completely humiliated at his crushes birthday party he runs off and hides from them in a dilapidated abondond beach house. He fllas through a hole in the floor and finds an old book in a chest. It says :Learn how to fly" and it contains directions on how to fly,exercises to do,spells,and the recipe to a secret potion(also includes the secret ingredient). Jack thought it was crazy, but he finally thought he found something Wilson COULDN'T DO!!!! And when he makes the weird blob his dog eats a large chunk and floats away so now Jack has to go catch him... To find out the rest READ THE BOOK!!!! Don't listen to the bad reviews!!! This book is awesome!!

It's about a boy who finds a book of flying lessons & there's this cute girl called Mia and Wilson always tries to show he's better than Jack and to impress Mia. If you are a Goosebump fan you have to read this book!
