I really liked this book!

Rather than making you want to stat out of the water, Deep Trouble might inspire you to dive in exlpore caves. While taking their summer vacation with their Uncle [Dr. D], a scientist. Billy and his sister Sheena found a mermaid. Things take a turn for the worse when Billy actually finds one. Deep Trouble is not a horror book, It's more like an adventure book. There is an intense run in with a hammerhead shark that's good for chills. Recommended reading for sea monster fans.

The mystery of the mermaid

Book Report Deep Trouble, a book by RL Stine to be enjoyed by people that are interesting in mystery and creatures of the sea, this book can be compared to a Saturday night with your girlfriend because it may be interesting part of the night or could be boring. Billy and his sister, Sheena was visiting their uncle Dr. Deep on a tiny Caribbean island. Other ship arrives and they talk with his uncle. Billy was hearing all because the people that came talk very loud. They were talking about something of a mermaid; Billy was very interesting because no one have seen a mermaid. When Billy tries to capture the mermaid a shark attack him but the mermaid defend him. As the story goes, there are three people in a ship in a little island in the Caribbean islands. One of them is trying to hide that a mermaid is in a lagoon because he do not want that there other people do not get involucrate in this dangerous expedition. My opinion is that is a fantastic book but in some parts the story put very boring by the fact that it have a lot of dots. I recommend this book to the people that want to be in suspension.

"Just when you thought it was safe..."

I was addicted to these books when I was younger and it wasn't until I was majoring in education in college that I figured out why. They were interesting with bizarre plot twists that most 9-12 year olds don't think about and they were short (usually between 110-130 pages). I could read the whole thing in a day.My parents also didn't have a lot of heartache with buying me a new book because these are relatively inexpensive (in the neighborhood of 3-5 bucks each).R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books aren't scary, just kind of creepy. There aren't graphic descriptions of murder and mayhem. Just some ghosts, werewolves, or potions. The main character is alive in the end, and the final chapter resolves everything.**Keep in mind, R.L. Stine has other books that aren't in the "Goosebumps" series that tend to be a little harsher when it comes to hauntings and plot. They are written more for the 12-14 age group and are longer (around 150-200 pages).

DEEP TROUBLE

Billy is like every boy. He gets in trouble and likes blond mermaids and girls. He has alot of adventures. For example, he disobeys his uncle and goes to the lagoon swimming. As Billy is swimming a shark sneaks up on him and is about to eat him but the mermaid saves him. If you like books filled with adventures this is a book for you.
