Excellent collection

I purchased this book for a friend who wanted me to help her get interested in literature. I selected this book because it's small (not intimidating) and contains one of my favorite short stories of all time - Bartleby, The Scrivener. I don't know if she ever read it, but I read the collection in the afternoon before I gave it to her.
