Wilderness Wanderer: A Biblical Historical story featuring an Inspiring Woman

By Jenifer Jennings

She sang on the far shore of the sea. Now her people want to go back.

With Egypt behind them, Miriam and the Hebrews set out for a land flowing with milk and honey. She danced while Pharaoh's army sank beneath the water. She believed the hardest part was over.

The desert proves her wrong. Complaints move through the camp like wildfire, and Miriam finds the unrest taking root in her own heart. Aaron leads the priests. Moses speaks with Yahweh face to face. And though Yahweh gives Miriam dreams, songs, and prophecy, she still longs for something she cannot name.

When the people grow weary of the unknown, they choose a new leader to carry them back to Egypt. Yahweh will not force anyone into freedom. He allows them to walk back into their chains.

Will Miriam press on in faith, or wander in the wilderness within sight of the promise?

Join Miriam on her powerful journey of faith and discovery in Wilderness Wanderer, Book 2 of the Faith Finders series.
