colorful and educational

We got this for our child when he was 6 months old and he loved the bright, high-contrast images. As he got older, he still loved the colorful images and came to love learning the names of the vegetables and how easy it was for him to memorize with out all the superfluous words. Now that he's 2.5, he still loves it as he now knows what these vegetables are from eating them and growing them in our yard. He still delights to turn its pages and recite the vegetables and I believe the book has been a part of him loving to know and eat his veggies. Even though its meant for younger kids, we are going to go get him the "Fruit" one now too, I am sure he will love it just as much.

Cute like a board book should be...

I bought this for my wife and daughter, but I read it to my daughter the other day (she's only 6 mos. old) and she was entertained. I thought is was pretty clever, but obviously it's a board book so there's not much going on here. My daughter also liked the way it tasted.
