Summer, 1968 in London, England. During an evening rainstorm after a heat wave on July 30th, private detective Jack Story enters The Vinyl Mushroom music store near closing hours. Inside, the jukebox is playing as a small group of customers move around the display room. A janitor is keeping the floor clean, and the owner of the place is enjoying a sandwich. Soon enough, as the music pulls Jack into the surreal atmosphere, the store owner collapses and dies in the room. With few people around, Jack demands everyone stay inside as he investigates the scene. He quickly realizes the colorful characters in The Vinyl Mushroom are not all who they appear to be, while hiding their hidden nature and true motives. This is a story of music and scenery, for it's the time of the season...in the bizarre world of Jack Story.
