A great tool for teachers!

This is the third year in a row that I have purchased this wonderful and comprehensive resource. I use it regularly to keep teachersplanet.com up-to-date and to build online classroom units for teachers and homeschoolers. The book's organization makes it easy to find ideas quickly so that educators can apply timely and relevant lessons on short notice or after careful planning. The more unusual listings are great as "fun facts" for the whole classroom to enjoy! I appreciate the variety of information listed for each observance, too--sponsors, Web sites, books and other materials that serve as subject matter companions. Lastly, this book thinks globally by representing many countries. It is impossible to close the book and feel as though you still don't have any new curriculum ideas!
