Brave Native American Warriors for the Union!

This is the story of Company K 1st Michigan Sharpshooters Regiment in the Union Army during the Civil War. Company K was made up of Native Americans who were crack shots and participated in the Battles of the 1st Michigan SS Regiment in the Army of the Potomac especially during the Petersburg Campaign of June 1864- March 1865. Those brave warriors served their country honorably and with deadly accuracy even though Native Americans were on the endangered species list held by the US Government. I recommend this book to any and all people who love history, an excellent read and knowing more of the contributions of Native Americans during the Civil War.
