"Mac" McCain is the Deputy Sheriff In Thunder Point. He lives there with his three children and his aunt, Lou. She has helped him raise his children since his wife,CeeJay, left him when his youngest was just an infant. It has been ten years since CeeJay left. She has not kept in touch at all. No calls, no cards, no gifts for the children. The family has adjusted to her being out of the picture. Mac has developed a close relationship with Gina James. She has a teenage daughter the same age as Mac's daughter and the girls are best friends. It has been four years since Mac and Gina became friends. Everyone can see how they feel about each other yet they can't see it. Neither of them want to spoil a good friendship. What will it take for them to face their own feelings? Are they brave enough to put themselves out there and take a chance? You will have to take a chance and read the book. You will not be disappointed. I sure wasn't.
