Revival is a step towards revitalizing one's interests and avowal to achieve a deeper sense of connection with something desirable. In Christianity, 'Revival' is to stimulate the spiritual sensibilities of an individual to such level that will promote appropriate relationship with God. It is not a group undertaking. It is essentially personal.
The Revival implied in this book should emanate from the inert desire of the individual to relate with God. Relationship with God starts with a direct encounter or confrontation with Jesus Christ. This confrontation leads to the acceptance and confession of His deity, authority and the acknowledgement of His personal future return to earth in power and glory to rule
The book, The New Revival aims at inspiring the believer to a life of devotion and consecration. The stimulation creates the desire to relate with God in a very personal and practical way. This experience leads to a New Birth. The essence is to sustain faith in Jesus Christ, to be His bride and to remain faithful to HIM till "the marriage supper of the lamb".
Revival therefore, is bred out of the innermost desire to relate with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, in a very personal and formal way.
