Thoroughly Enjoyable!

I enjoyed this book so much, I am awaiting the sequel to arrive! A wonderful story of a man and a woman who as young lovers realize that they must sacrifice everything they hold dear for their families. They each live out their lives separate, in their own marriages, but meet once each year in The Gazebo. Now at the end of their lives, the man passes the secret on to another person ( a reporter), hoping that their true story will be shared. A quick read, with a nice story.

Totally Romantic

If you love tearjerkers, then you should definitely read this book. It was short but sweet, and it was powerful in showing the love between two people. Although I was mad at Claire for leaving Martin, their love was so special that they never stopped loving each other through out the years. I absolutely loved this book and recommend it to hopeless romantics!

Wonderful

I can not tell you how great this book was! A wonderful story line about a rare love, that doesn't seem to exist now-a-days. Only two books have ever made me a cry, Gazebo and The Notebook. It takes a truly great book to reach that type of emotion. It's hard to find books on realistic love that lasts forever. This book definitely touches the heart and soul. I absolutely loved it!

We all were taken in by the GAZEBO!!!

The Gazebo was the book of our summer vacation, it was passed on from friend to friend to see who would cry harder. We all loved it!! It is an excellent story for those in love, those who have lost a love or those who want a love. We highly recommend it.

Unforgettable!

This is truly an engaging love story. How unfortunate that Claire and Martin, through their struggles, weren't able to live out their lifetime together. But, how fortunate they were to have experienced the love of their lifetime. Oh, if we could all be so blessed with such joy! I've recommended this to several co-workers, who've also enjoyed "The Notebook". Make sure you have your hankies!
