Helps to fulfill the urgent and immense need for graphic material relevant to
development efforts. It will be welcomed by individuals and organizations
throughout the Third World, from village health volunteers to international aid
agencies.
Is organized in sections under: Food, Health and Water; Shelter; Work, and
Figures, Groups and Comics.
Sets high standards for local artists, enables them to copy its drawings as and
when necessary, and draws attention to the multi-purpose use, importance and
value of good illustration in development programmes, large or small.
The illustrations have been provided free of charge by illustrators and art students.
They are contributed without copyright restrictions, so that local workers in
developing countries can copy illustrations for on-the-spot use.
