Tons of information that is easy to understand

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this book. Would it be a satire about 2012? I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was not. From the first pages I was hooked. I have tried to read other books about 2012. They get so technical with some of the galactic explanations that my eyes glaze over. This book is written for the average joe and it is filled with so much valuable information and with such a well-rounded point of view. I'm certainly no expert on the subject, but what is in this book resonates with me and makes a lot of sense to me. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in what may or may not happen come 12/21/12 and those simply interested in respecting our planet. I will be referring back to this book often. I heartily thank the authors for a job well done.

Very well-rounded look at the whole 2012 thing

This is the fourth book on 2012 I've read, and it's by far the most well-rounded. It looks at it from every conceivable point of view, allowing the reader to decide for him/herself what to believe or take to heart. Daniel Pinchbeck and John Major Jenkins's books are very good as well, but are more focused on certain aspects of 2012. I don't like the word 'idiot' on my books though!

My Coffee Table Book for Guests

A great overview of possibilities for 2012 covering the ancient races, prophets, etc. Giving insights and enabling those who may have never read or believed anything 2012. This book remains on my coffee table as a conversation starter to include those who do not know much of this subject. I read all books, I will look from the perspective of many authors on this subject, I however will not stay long with the one sided views of what will/ could happen. This is a book that bring on the facts, and gives them to the reader to make his/ her own decision or preperations.

Finally, a realistic view of 2012

Having worked in the FBI for over 30 years I run sort of skeptical on prophecies of the future. Yet, I found this just the right read for all the fuss over 2012. It is simple, understandable yet erudite. The Andrews, from what I have read and gather from their background, are very knowledgeable in what they do - and it shows! The book is filled with information and warnings - warnings as to where one can go off the edge. Their feet are certainly on the ground as they offer possibilities in the future based on traditions of the past. What more can one ask? Whether you are a "believer" or not does not matter. Rest assured, even if you only seek information about 2012 as a social obligation, as it will be on many lips, this is the book to get what you need to know. And, if you believe there may be something to it, and I do, there are some good tips as to what to do. So, for we fellow "Idiot's" this book is quite erudite, simple and uncomplicated. I recommend it highly.

Synthia and Colin Andrews are great guides into the mysteries that surround the 2012 Mayan prophesies. Well written and easily understandable, "2012" leads the reader on a multi-faceted journey into the past, while offering very plausible theories about our future. It is an engaging read that was enjoyable for myself,a creative arts therapist, as well as my husband, who has less fluency with 'energy language'. Both of us felt the information was conveyed in an ethical manner, and that both authors' voices blended seemlessly to create a well-grounded as well as intellectually stimulating read.
