Newfound happiness

Gaia has returned from France, and now has a home with her father Tom. This is the first time she has ever been truly happy in over 5 years. I mean, she has Sam, she has her father, and she finally feels like she belongs somewhere. But how long will this happiness last?Sam is just glad that he is no longer a suspect for the murder of his friend Mike. All of that is because of Josh, the new RA. But Josh doesn't seem to be who he is. It is almost like he is playing a role. Not to mention the fact that he is sending Sam on errands. If things can't get worse for our dear little Sam, he is getting anonymous phone calls from people telling him to stay away from Gaia, or he will be terminated. Doeas Josh have anything to do with these people? And, if not, who exactly IS Josh?Ed is getting some feelings in his legs. He is ecstatic that his surgery worked, and that he will soon be able to walk again. But when he tells Heather the good news, she doesn't seem as happy. In fact, she tells him not to tell ANYONE so that he can get the money (like 23 million) from the case. Ed is desperate to tell Gaia, but he doesn't want to hurt Heather's feelings. What is he to do?This book was really good. The ending was really sad, and i felt SOOOO bad for Gaia.

A heart-stopping new turn in the Fearless series.

Happiness is one thing Gaia wants when she arrives in New York with her father, and Loki imprisoned. For the first time in a long while, Gaia is happy -- she has Sam, she's friends with Ed, and she has her father. But the people she has always trusted in her life seem to be hiding things from her. Even though she has no fear of anything, she can still feel the pain. Sam is going through the worst moments in his life -- ever since the death of his roommate, Mike Suarez, Josh has been acting not only strange and hostile, but using him for his own selfish reasons. And there are people who Sam thinks may be orechestrating a horrible plan against him -- and he's falling apart. Meanwhile, Loki deviates a hideous plan to try to escape from prison -- a plan that he hopes can enable him to get his hands on Gaia. Will Gaia ever be normal again... no matter how hard she hopes? Fearless #15: Tears was both happy and sad, a heart-stopping addition to the Fearless series that I couldn't put down. I thought it was one of the best, because the characters have never stood out as strong as before than in this book in Francine Pascal's riveting series, which twists and turns into each action packed book following.

Better Than Ever

"Tears" is the 15th book in the Fearless series by Francine Pascal. I've never read any of her work except for all of the Fearless books. These books are nothing short of amazing. I read each one in one day. I have so much going on right now, but I read "Tears" in about four hours flat. I couldn't put it down. You think something's going to happen and the it doesn't, so you have to keep reading until it does. Mrs. Pascal has a way with keeping her audience involved. In "Tears" Gaia finally has her life altogether. She has a father, she has a boyfriend, she has a place to call home, she has her best friend, and she's as happy as she's ever been. Until things start going wrong like they always do and Gaia has to find some way to fix things and get them back to "normal". Gaia's opinion of "normal" on page 5 is reflected as, "I'm either in need of some drastic and immediate psychiatric treatment, or else I'm unmistakably happy. Happy. There. I said the word. ..." I don't know how Mrs. Pascal comes up with these one-word-titles for her books, but she does and they fit perfectly. You won't believe who sheds "Tears" in this book. The setting is in New York City, and when I went on vacation to NYC I just had to go to the village. I took pictures of Washington Square Park, Bleeker and MacDougal, and many other different things that have to do with the books. Now I can actually visualize Gaia in Washington Square Park playing chess with Zolov or Mr. Haq. Mrs. Pascal is very precise about her settings. She makes them real places, which makes her stories all the more believable. It's incredible how involved you get in these books. I can't wait for the 16th book to come out next month.

Tears

This book had a lot of pain going on. In the beginning everything is fine and Gaia is happy. Then Ed is hiding something from her which you already know is his pack with Heather to not tell anyone that he may be able to walk again. Sam is also hiding something from her which includes something about a threatening phone call that warns him to stay away from Gaia. Also, Josh, Sam's new friend isn't who you thinks he is. Gaia's world starts falling apart in this book because everyone in her life is being distant even her father. When things already seem bad something even worse happens, Loki escapes from jail and Tom is forced to leave the country and break Gaia's heart once more. This was a good book and it showed a lot of emotion you don't usually see.

The newest book in the thrilling Fearless series.

Gaia Moore has finally found the one thing she has been searching for ever since her mother's death five years ago: happiness. She and her father have returned from Paris, and he has vowed never to leave her again. Loki has been captured and imprisoned. Gaia and Sam are together, and she is beginning to rekindle her friendship with Ed. Gaia feels like an entirely new person - someone who can have something of a normal life. Little does she know how wrong she is. Loki is orchestrating his revenge from behind bars, and Sam has a secret of his own - one that could destroy him. Gaia feels like everyone is hiding something from her - Sam, Ed, her father. And she herself may be once again in danger. This was a thrilling continuation of the Fearless series. I can't wait to read the next book, which comes out in July.
