Is thinking a matter of intelligence or a skill that can be taught deliberately? Can thinking be taught directly as a curriculum subject in schools? This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is Dr. de Bono's first attempt to allow his management approach to improving thinking to "trickle down" to affect secondary school teachers. It is the same approach and very much a rehash of what appears in his "Thinking Course," among others, of his many books on the subject. What is fresh about this book is that its repackaging expands many of the topics (including its familiar CORT method) into a more detailed level of analysis, surely to be attractive to the secondary teacher who might be a bit reluctant to see the ultimate value of de Bono's approach as it is introduced to the class room setting. Not one of his better books, but still good enough for four stars.
