Love The Hard Way

Gray Crawford fell in love with Frances, but he didn't want her to know. So he tested her to see if she was good enough for him. Frances came to Scotland to work as home help for Mrs Ferguson, once she got there she found she had not only Mrs Ferguson, but her son Ian and daughter Lesley, but Gray Crawford to have as employers. Gray also told her she had to learn to swim after Lesley almost made Frances drown. In no time Frances found Mrs Ferguson easy, Ian a nice young man, Lesley and Gray a vitch to work for. Soon Gray proposed marriage to Frances and after a three day honeymoon he left for the U S. One year and three months later he comes home, he finds Ian kissing his wife's hands and concludes he made a mistake not so long ago. Gray knows nothing about Robby his son nor does he ask. His mother has told him lies about Ian and he makes his own conclusion. It isn't until another vitch, Samantha Lambert shows up that Frances finds out Gray was badly injured and couldn't return home right away.
