I ordered this book for a class I am taking and it got here in just a few days! The book itself is helpful so far, lots of great info! Certainly not a book I would choose for leisure reading!! haha! But great for a class that you have to take!

Good reference book for athletes and trainers

I had to use this book in a class for Sports Nutrition. It is a great reference book (ie RDA for vitamins and minerals) and is valuable for anyone that is an athlete or works with athletes. I found it to be a little repetitive and the case studies were a little too typical to be helpful. In either case, it's easy to read and it is fairly easy to navigate as a reference manual.

This is a very useful textbook. Even though I purchased it for school, I'm holding onto it as a reference.
