Ebola Unleashed in America!

Plague Wind picks up where Executioner #234: Target Command leaves off, with America's secret weapon, Mack Bolan, once more confronted by an unknown adversary intent on destabilizing the world. Rather than concentrating on Western Europe as the enemy did in Target Command, this time the terrorists are after no less than the United States itself! Their plan is to release a mutant strain of the Ebola virus within the U.S. if their demands are not met. Together with long-time Stony Man colleagues (and series favorites) David McCarter, Jack Grimaldi, Gary Manning and "Gadgets" Schwarz, Mack must pull out all the stops in order to save the country from the impending viral nightmare. Plague Wind serves up as much action as a Schwarzeneggar movie with the thrill-a minute suspense of Outbreak. Written by Chuck Rogers, this is one book that won't disappoint! It is easily the best of the Power Trilogy, as well one of the best of the entire Executioner series. The trilogy concludes in #236: Vengeance Rising. Also highly recommended by Chuck Rogers is #292: Savage Game. Note that Executioner series creator Don Pendleton only wrote the first 38 books (not including #16: Sicilian Slaughter); everything after that has been ghostwritten by various authors, some better than others, and Chuck Rogers is one of the greatest. Unfortunately, you have to check the copyright page of the book (under "special thanks") to find out who really wrote it, because only Don Pendleton's name appears on the front cover.
