max -the 5th maximum ride novel. awesome!!

this is mt favorite book in the mr series, just above the 3rd. i am 11 years old, and an avid reader. i was introduced to the seriesby my aunt,(who happens to be a librarian) and instantly fell in love with the series. i read all 5 books in about 2 days. mainly i particuarly love this book for the humor, such as: "this is my brain: 0 this is my brain after making out with fang: . " i also love it for the romance, because maxs and fangs relationship really develops and blossoms. tiny tin can of death, hahahahaha. i love maxs witty quips, i love her. i love fang even more though. i think the plot was well constructed and i believe jk chose the perfect time for their relationsip to start before frustrated fans started sending him mail asking why the heck fnag and max havent hooked up yet. a wonderful book, one of the best in the series. i owuld give it 1000 stars, but i think my kindle would overload if i went that high. i am eagerly waiting for the next book, fang.

Max makes a splash!

Let me just say that after the last book (Final Warning) i wasn't too sure about buying this one. but i'm glad i did. I always wanted more Fang and Max and this book has it. i love that Patterson actually developed their previously non exsistant relationship. They have more subtle hinsta bout global warming instead of like the last book where everything revolved around it and it took away from teh story, the mission, which is still the same Save The World. After she saves her mom of course. I actully laughed out loud with Max and her witty remarks and Gazzy Max is about Max going to rescue her mom from the people (i'm using "people" rather loosely) who kidnapped her. Mr. Chu, the new villan in charge. so imagine Max in a sub marine for days, in small rooms, and Angel not listening to her and Fang spending time with Ms. Redhed again while Nudge is thinking about staying behind to go to school, Gazzy who cant seem to stop making things blow up, and Iggy who i am sad to say has a very little role in this book, which is sad because he is one of my favorites. but don't forget about Total who has fallen in love. Mix all those things together with a clausterphobic Max and the adventure begins.

Really good..

K. I don't think ANYONE like the last book. This one was AMAZING though. Buy it. it is truly worth the money.

Great Read-Aloud Adventure

My kids are a bit on the younger side (6 & 9 years old) but these books are fantastic to read aloud to them- they have serious appeal for almost any age and touch on topics that are of universal importance. I love that not only are there charaters and situations that I can relate to, but so can my 6-year-old. What I like most is the high-flying(no pun intended) adventure and how I can leave my girls hanging, literally begging for another chapter. Makes it easy to come back to again and again- much as I hate to put it down at all(Ok, I read it straight through myself, first- what's a mom to do?). We have something to look forward to the next night! All our favorite characters are back, though as one reviewer commented, not all get as much play time but I felt like in this book there was a good deal more character development. Don't want to ruin anything but the romance angle kept even me(old mom) interested. I am a big fan of Total who provides alot of comic relief. Patterson has the fast pace and well-timed humor down pat in this book. The language flows easily and yet isn't 'dumbed down' and something about the way Patterson write makes me feel like I'm right there with Max and the rest of the 'flock'. It's fast, it's fun and it has a little something for everyone- heros, heroines, villians and even a flying dog. Can it get any better than that?
