Love at First Flight definitely belongs in First Class. A great summer read.

Marie gives us a touching, heartfelt and dramatic love story with memorable characters and a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Not many authors can give you a romance novel that is ripe with heart stopping suspense and make it work, well Marie Force definitely can and does with Love at First Flight. Her main characters are involved in a love triangle that make you root for each of them at different times in the book, and said characters are well developed and so interesting that when the story's over you wish there were more to read. If that's not enough she throws her readers into a murder trial with seriously evil bad guys and sequestered witnesses starring her supporting cast of characters which are so good they could support their own story. Her writing style is wonderful and her descriptive dialogue takes you to all the places the book visits in vivid detail. The love scenes are sultry and sensual and sexy and add a certain depth to the story. So if you love a great romance with a lot of suspense, and you're not opposed to using a box of tissues as a prop and you like your love scenes on the sizzle burner. Then this should definitely be your next read. Great work Marie!!

Hooked from the first

I was anxious to get this book after reading Marie Force's first book, Line Of Scrimmage. Once I got my hands on it, I devoured it, and then went back for more. It took me almost two weeks before I could even start a new book. It was that good for me. Her characters seem so real, that you can relate to them on a personal level. You can almost feel Juliana's indecision of whom to choose. Jeremy isn't a "bad" guy, he wasn't a bad boyfriend. He did hurt Juliana though, when he spoke his feelings. He immediately regretted it, and tried to make up for it. But those words could not be taken back. With Jeremy's efforts, you almost wanted him to be the one. But Michael's character was just.... perfect for Juliana. She needed someone like him. He knew right away that she was the one for him. It shouldn't take the guy 10 years to realize that he wants to marry you. Even knowing that she was going to be important to him, he didn't rush things. But he let her know that she was it for him. There were some very poignant scenes between Juliana & Michael. And some bittersweet scenes between Juliana & Jeremy. As I said, Jeremy wasn't a bad guy. You want him to find his HEA. He was great for Juliana in the beginning of their relationship, but like with a lot of very young couples, as you grow older, your needs change, and what was enough then, isn't enough anymore. I look forward to more from Marie Force. And would love it even more if the "exes" got their own HEA's :)

This book soars

Love At First Flight by Marie Force shows that love can happen when you least expect it. Baltimore attorney Michael Maguire is trying the biggest case of his young career. He really can't afford a weekend away but his fiancée Paige is demanding his presence in Jacksonville Beach Fla. Michael strikes up a conversation with his seat mate and discovers they are both in long distance relationships. Hairstylist Juliana Gregorio is flying to Fla. to spend the weekend with her long time boyfriend Jeremy. Jeremy has been away on a job for over seven months and Juliana feels they need to reconnect. Since both Juliana and Michael are returning on the same flight they agree to meet up again on Sunday. Neither weekend goes as planned. Michael's fiancée family tries once again to control him and he bulks and calls off the engagement. Jeremy reluctantly admits to wondering if the grass is greener on the other side since he and Juliana have dated for over ten years. Juliana wants them to take a three month break with no contact. The flight home is revealing for both Michael and Juliana. Michael offers her a place to stay since she doesn't want to return to the home she shared with Jeremy. Both are attracted to each other but their past still are playing havoc with their emotions. Michael's high profile case is causing danger to come extremely close to home. He is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his star witness and Juliana safe. But can he keep his heart safe when Juliana time limit to Jeremy is up? Love At First Flight is wonderful. Marie Force really makes you feel the gambit of emotions, the highs and the lows. You feel like these characters problems are real and they touch your heart. I feel in love with Ms. Force's work in Line Of Scrimmage and it continues in Love At First Flight. This is an author that is going places.

Beautiful romance

Juliana and Michael, both in long-distance relationships, meet the first time when they are waiting for the same plane. Right from the start they have a certain connection and can talk about nearly everything. Flying home some days later they share a plane again and both realize that nothing is like it was. Michael broke up with his fiancee and Juliana is on a three month break from her boyfriend Jeremy because he isn't sure if she really is the one he wants to spend his life with. Once again Michael and Juliana feel a special connection and when back home he helps her out because her car died they become friends and later even roommates. What begins as a friendship soon turns into a serious relationship. For Michael it's clear that Juliana is the one woman he wants to spend his life with. But Juliana still feels loyal to Jeremy who supported her over the years with handling her alcoholic mother and who gave her love and stability, two things she never had before meeting him. In the end it's up to Juliana to choose the man she wants to spend her future with and decide what's really important in her life. "Love at first flight" is an awesome book. Right from the start I enjoyed reading about Michael and Juliana. It's interesting to see them first in relationships with others and then together as a pair. The differences between these realtionships are really absorbing and show that love doesn't come in one only form. Michael is a great guy who knows what he wants and Juliana is a very loyal person who feels that the ten years she spend with Jeremy are too important to let go, especially because he is the only man (besides Michael) she was ever with. Juliana's conflict is very believable even though once or twice during the book I wanted to give her a good shake so that she comes to her senses about what really counts (and who's the right guy for her) but mercifully she manages to do this on her own at the end. So all in all "Love at first flight" by Marie Force is a great book that you shouldn't miss.
