Not the best as accounts and locations but a good bit in describing accounts and stories of giant humans in different cultures to this day.

Very interesting read

It would have been nice to have more info. More photos. The author acts like if he told more, he would be in trouble. Lots of anecdotal evidence, not much hard facts or photos. Reprints of newspaper articles or clippings or something would have been nice. Just a list with minimal description of finds was so-so, but not convincing.

A Short Book on Giants

"Lost World of Giants" fascinates with great information on giant crocodile, wombat, kangaroo, and human fossils. There are pictures of bizarrely shaped human skulls. I was able to verify much of his info from reputable websites. One of the pictures was incredibly lame, tho. It showed a recreated (sculpted) leg bone of giant human. There is a legitimate foto of a mummified giant from a railway station in the UK. Astounding. Sadly many of the giant artifacts were found years ago and have been written about in local presses (which he cites), but in the intervening years these artifacts seem to have disappeared--stolen or buried in some museum vault. I loved the book. I couldn't put it down. This was no hardship, tho, because this book on giants was quite short. And it was also short on pictures. I give Mr Gray 4 stars for pointing out intriguing, little known, controversial facts about human history. Now someone needs to do some extensive research and detective work. I want a larger, GIANT "book 2" with pictures! Then it'll get a 5 star rating. Until then I'm hanging on to my copy of this book. And you should get yours.

I'VE BEEN A FAN OF JONATHAN'S WORKS FOR YEARS. YOU'LL EITHER REALLY LIKE HIM, OR THINK HE'S NUTS. JONATHAN IS CAREFUL AND VERY THOROUGH IN HIS RESEARCH, SO IT WOULD VERY HARD TO PROVE HIM WRONG WHICH I HAVEN'T TO THIS POINT OF IT EVER HAPPENING TO HIM. I RECOMMEND HIS BOOKS, THEY DON'T TAKE THAT LONG TO READ AND THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY, AT LEAST TO ME.
