Wow! A friend asked me to read this and I can not be happier that I took her advice. If you are not a Christian this book will help you see why you should believe. If you are a Christian it will challenge your thinking and really invite you back into studying for yourself again as she challenges many things you have been taught over the years of church teaching, but that also makes sense. Jesus for Adults is scripturally sound, interesting, and does not insult the intelligence. However, Brook is prone to ramble and skip around to topics that have little to do with the theme of a particular chapter. The forward, preface, and introduction are eye-opening, but also seem to be a "soap box" the author uses before starting the book. Once past these pre-chapters, the book is definitely worth reading.
