Love but Dark and Twisted

Each Harlequin author seems to have her special theme, and Julia James excels at stories about damaged characters, either emotionally or physically. In this case, it's about the two characters whose misunderstanding about each other is compounded by a twisted family history and made worse by having been allowed to fester for seven years. If there were a case of love and hate being two sides of a coin, this would be it. In a twisted way, one can see that these two emotionally scarred people are made for each other.
