Maybe it’s a matter of age, or location, or gender—whatever—but there were very few cartoons in the Third Treasury that even amused me—still fewer that made me laugh. Some of the drawings were hard to understand, and even when I could interpret them, it was difficult to see the humor in them. I find humor in many things, and regularly laugh out loud, but this book was as bad as I imagine a bad marriage to play out.
