This is the original Healthy Exchanges book, the first one. This not only explains Joanna's healthy exchanges plan BUT! You get a lot of wonderful recipes! There are very few that I have not liked, and best of all my family loves what I cook out of these books. If you could only buy one Healthy Exchanges book to get started, get this one! It's also out of print now so don't miss the opportunity. There are some amazing recipes in this one!

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety offered to me. The food was delicious and it was all normal food that you have on hand in your pantry. My children are very picky eaters and they cleaned their plates and asked for more.
