Heart warming ending

Zack bought a big green egg at a flea market. The seller of the egg said it was the dinosaur egg and never put it in microwave. But new their housekeeper puts it in a microwave. What had happened on the egg? Did it become a big boiled egg? The story doesn't have reality as usual. And it makes the story funny and interesting for readers. But the last part of the story will warm your heart. You may think about saving nature and animals.

Charming and fun book.

Thank goodess for the Zack files! My extremely reluctant 8 year old reader has really taken to reading the Zack files, and just finished Greenish Eggs and Dinosaurs. The author does a nice job of keeping the reader's attention with dry humor, fun characters, and plots that are fun, but not overly complex. The vocabulary and style of writing used are right on for 7 to 9 year olds who need as much practice as they can get reading. The vocabulary is not too difficult, but is challenging enough to hold my 8 year old's interest without being frustrating. I recommend this and all in the Zack Files series.

Another fun "Zack" tale

"Greenish Eggs and Dinosaurs," by Dan Greenburg, is #23 in the "Zack Files" series of short novels for young readers. The book is illustrated by Jack E. Davis. In this story, young Zack buys a dinosaur egg at a flea market. Things get out of hand when the egg hatches, and Zack finds himself caring for a voracious baby reptile. This isn't, in my opinion, one of the best of the series, but it's still fun. The story also teaches valuable lessons about responsibility and compassion for animals.
