Movie Is Better

I was excited for this book, but I feel like it lacks throughout the story. I don't want to spoil too much, but there were instances where the story was very cliché and cringey. The concept itself of Meg becoming a goddess was interesting and had the potential to be just as good as, if not better than, the movie. But because of the story not being well thought out down to the last detail, the story fell through in some areas.
