In the same league as 1984.. but co-authored by CS Lewis and GK Chesterton. Terrifying whimsy

My daughter is reading this series and kept insisting I tried it. Because she’s my daughter I decided to give it a shot and picked Unbirthday. This is a whimsically grim ball of delicious nonsense spread thickly over the toast of 2024 America. An amazingly frightful joy of a book.

Awesome read for fans

This one is more brutal then the other stories. It keeps you wanting to read. Parts are very emotional if you love the characters as much as I did 🖤

Avid Alice Lover

Alice is my favorite story of all time. Though the book does get frustrating at some parts, don’t all good books? You end a chapter on a cliffhanger and get annoyed. This book was a wonderful addition to the already wonderful series. It is less of a “what if” and more of a “then this” as it takes place after Alice’s first trip to Wonderland. I loved the ending, which is a rare occurrence in any book for me. First of the twisted that I read, I am looking forward to reading more!
