A passionate tale of love, tragedy and forgiveness by a best-selling author - Marni Lange was just seventeen when she fell passionately in love with the irresistibly sexy Brian Webster. Then a tragic accident tore them apart. Fourteen years later, Marni is now a successful businesswoman, about to appear on the cover of a national magazine - and come face-to-face with the world-famous photographer profiling her . . . Brian Webster. As Marni struggles with her attraction to the man who haunts her past, is she now brave enough to follow her heart and fight for what matters most? This is a first time regular print hardcover previously available in a mass market edition.

This was a nice, fast paced story of reconciliation, healing and forgiveness. The meant-to-be type of romance between soulmates appeals to my hopelessly romantic heart, and I especially like the mature way Marnie stood up against her parent's controlling manipulativeness, leaving the door open for acceptance and a loving resolution.
Highly enjoyable read

Once I started reading this book, I found it hard to put down. Delinsky uses a great mix of romance, drama and even a bit of comedy. The main characters had interesting careers (one a corporate CEO and the other a famous photographer) and a tragically intertwined past. I like how Marni stands up to her father when she realizes Brian is the thing she wants even more than her powerful job running the family business - which she was basically pushed into after the tragic death of her brother, in an accident that left Brian severely wounded. Love conquers all in this story and it brings a smile to my heart.
