A must-read if you're on the spiritual fence

I own most of Grant Jeffrey's books, and this one did not disappoint. He thoughtfully and eloquently presents powerful evidence that God's handiwork can be "seen" everywhere: in the human eye, the universe, DNA. He also convincingly refutes the theory of evolution. Creation can be a stumbling block for many, including born-again Christians, and this book can settle the issue once and for all: God created the universe and everything in it. Jeffery proves Creation!

Jeffery is one of the most important figures on Christian prophecy. He has written one of the major fictional accounts of the Lords second coming and the End of Days but book is NOT fiction - this is real! This is a great book as well as a great work that proves the Bible is true: that a creator, (God) created Man in his God-like image. Jeffrey knows his stuff; he has written and spoken about the Messiah, the Apocalypse and Armageddon. If you have any doubts, he will remove them. Read before it's too late! For a very compelling docudrama DVD Movie on the End of Days see: The Final Events DVD The movie is great because it shows CNN like news reports of what will happen during the End Days. Both are well recommended. The movie is also good to show unbelievers as it is very powerfully convincing.

They just don't get it!

It's unbelievable the amount of faith an evolutionist has to have to believe we were all created from molten lava millions of years ago. If you blew up a pile of bricks, would it form into a building if you gave it enough time to evolve? That's what evolutionist believe. We Christians don't argue w/the science. We have the same science and facts that you do. We believe there is a God who created and ordered all of the universe. The historical facts and evidence back it up. We have a Biblical foundation to back up the science -- evolution is based on man's version of the facts instead of God's version. If we evolved from a sigle cell to apes to humans -- why are we still not evolving? Actually, the people in the past were much smarter than we are today because we are looking at the world through clouded glasses of man's "truth" instead of God's truth. I suggest any reading of Ken Ham's Answers in Gensis collection. He dumbs it down so even an evolutionist like Wild Willy could understand.

A Tectonic Paradigm Shift

Dr. Grant Jeffrey has written a book that contains wonders both microcosmic and macrocosmic.Whether or not one believes in the literal truth of scripture, Jeffrey has made a startling case for the mathematical/scientific impossibility of a purely random universe. If Jeffrey is correct in his data (and it must be pointed out that each chapter has scrupulous and comprehensive endnotes), it seems as if there has been a silent yet momentous paradigm shift amongst scientists over the past generation. A significant percentage of classically trained scientists now ascribe to either a personal creator or accept the empirical evidence that the universe was purposefully designed. Other scientists, those that cannot bring themselves to abandon their atheistic dogma, readily admit that the universe and life are so finely calibrated, mere chance and random mutation alone are scandalously inadequate theories. Grant Jeffrey is brilliant when it comes to describing complex things in an accessible and yes, entertaining, way. His likening of a single cell to the infrastructure of a modern city is a vivid and almost cinematic way to help the reader visualize things that are too small to see. Likewise, he is adept at refuting routinely accepted scientific models, such as the old canard that "enough monkeys sitting at enough typewriters will eventually write the complete works of Shakespeare." Evolutionists invoke this simian silliness in an attempt to explain that bio-cosmic complexity is merely a function of chance and time. But as Jeffrey points out with sound statistical evidence, a near infinite number of monkeys typing for many millions of years would not produce so much as a single Shakespearean sonnet.There are dozens of other rich, invigorating and challenging examples peppered throughout this superb book. The section on human evolution alone is worth the jacket price.I have spoken to Christians who say that "Creation: Evidence of God's Design" has not only reaffirmed their faith, but also helped rid them of a lifetime of doubts inculcated by the secular educational system.Whether you read "Creation" in this spiritual context, or simply as an eye-opening journey through a universe that must certainly be more than the reductionism and materialism of the "dumb matter" model we have all been taught, Grant Jeffrey is a masterful guide and teacher.

Evolution Will Soon Be Extinct

Excellent book written without scientific overload. Dr. Jeffrey has a gift for writing in understandable terms for the lay person. Dr. Jeffrey is best known for his knowledge of bible prophecy so this book is a bit of a departure for him; still the study of evolution does tie in to the end-times scenario since it is a sign of the times that people would choose to believe in just about anything other than a God who made the universe. (Romans 1:18-23).In past books, Dr. Jeffrey used current events and already fulfilled prophecy to witness to the skeptic. He still has the same objective but now is using the universe as a proof to the existence and power of God. The author shows how creation and design is obvious in astronomy, human physiology, the animal kingdom and most impressively, recent discoveries into the blueprint of life, the DNA molecule. Dr. Jeffrey shows passages from the bible that describe what science is just now discovering. And how often do you hear from people who say the bible is no longer relevant in today's world?But Dr. Jeffrey doesn't just utilize the bible. He then traces how even secular scientists and intellecutals in their own writings are rejecting evolution since the universe points to some type of design, rather than an evolutionary development. Many people embrace evolution because in their pride and self-determination, the alternative of a creator God scares them too much. Dr. Jeffrey ends the book with a compassionate invitation that the creator of the universe is intensely interested in each of us and is inviting each person to seek Him out.
