With Cowboy Comes Back, Jeannie Watt has produced another page turner. Once you begin reading it, your internal Energizer Bunny will just keep going and going until you finish the last page. Champion rodeo rider Kade Danning and Libby Hale, a range management specialist with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), carry more baggage than your average bear. Kade struggled through childhood under a malevolent father who beat him regularly. Libby faced her own demons as the daughter of two drunken parents. Drawn together early on by their mutual understanding, these two childhood friends, who later become lovers, encounter rough going when Libby informs Kade that she isn't ready for marriage just yet. Deeply hurt, Kade reacts by impregnating Jillian. The liaison produces, on the one hand, an unwanted and unhappy marriage and, on the other, Kade's beloved daughter, Maddie. When Jillian finally leaves Kade, he embarks on an extended binge, eventually losing his lucrative product endorsements and gaining a reputation as an unreliable drunk.
