Codename Julio: A life of lies

By Manuel Grossy

CODE NAME: JULIO
SEVENTY YEARS OF LIES

For more than half a century, Emanuel Garssin has lived behind a name, a family, and a life built far from the secrets of his past.

But before he was a husband, a father, and a businessman, he was Julio.

Recruited as a boy in Argentina and drawn into a hidden world of intelligence, violence, political operations, and divided loyalties, Emanuel spent years carrying out missions whose consequences followed him long after the assignments ended.

Now, at sixty-six, facing a terminal diagnosis, he can no longer allow the truth to die with him.

From Argentina to Paraguay, from the shadows of Operation Condor to a quiet life in Florida, CODE NAME: JULIO - A LIFE OF LIES is the story of a man forced to confront the difference between following orders and accepting responsibility.

Some secrets protect a life.

Others imprison it.

And eventually, every lie demands an answer.
