Between the films

What happened to Jay and Silent Bob between "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma"? How did Jay get the idea of going to Shermer, Illinois? Where did he get that hat? And why were they hanging out in the parking lot of a birth control clinic?This book WILL answer those questions...and make you laugh out loud in the process!

Kevin Proves Himself Once Again

Oh, that Kevin Smith. Here he goes again giving us more Jersey Trilogy comics to go all gooey over. This comic was an excellent addition to the View Askewniverse. This is the story of exactly what happens between "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma", as we follow our favorite trouble makers, Jay and Silent Bob on their journey to John Hughes land. If you're a true fan, you'll notice references from all the Jersey Trilogy movies, and find out how Jay gets "Snoogans" on his cap, how Bob gets his Mooby hat, and other interesting little tidbits having to do with that part of the timeline. The comic is beautifully written by Kevin himself, and the illustrations are better than I could have dreamed. This is the sort of comic that takes you a few days to truly appreciate because of all the detail in the art. My suggestion is to buy it and enjoy.

A Must For View Askew Fans

Really gives you a better idea about Jay and his hetero lifemate, Silent Bob. Porn stars, The Fugitive and even Mr. Rogers make appearances. This series of comic books (four issues in this book) gives you the lowdown of J & SBs adventures from their scene in the Diner in "Chasing Amy" up until their grand appearance in "Dogma." Well drawn and exceptional stories make this a must for View Askew fanboys. Wanna know more about Suzanne, the monkey at the end of Mallrats? Wanna know how Jay and Silent Bob made it to Illinois? Extremely Funny

Not a comic book for little kids, Chasing Dogma provides the adventures of Jay & Silent Bob up to the opening moments of the film DOGMA. This made me laugh outloud many times. Highly recommended for fans of Smith's films and others who appreciate humor on several levels -- from crude to philosophical.
