a sweet story

This was a quaint story. I enjoyed getting to know the people from Hard Luck. They seemed genunine and real. Abbey's children are delightful and Abbey herself is lovely. I liked the character development in this story and I enjoyed how the romance was sweet. I am looking forward to more of Macombers Midnight Sons series. This was the first in the series.
