Amazing

I read this book in fifth grade and I still remember it. Something about it really startled me and I think it was the first time I could understand the reality and metaphor of this book simultaneously. After I finished it, I lay on my bed in silence because it had shaken my spirit so much. It's a descriptive and entertaining story, but don't read it if you don't want to think.

Avi has done it again!

I thought "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" couldn't be topped. I was proved wrong. This book delivers an amazing story that relates to the world today. Although the beginning is a little slow, you are soon drawn into a magical, yet down to earth story that adults and children alike will enjoy.

blue heron

I liked Blue Heron because it was very interstering.I never knew what was going to happen next so I never stoped reading it. I like the way that the family was going throught hard times and the told eachother what their fellings were. I also like the way that the Maggie went to try to find Tucker and she found him. My favorite part was the end when they realized who much they loved eachother. I would tell everyone to read this book because it was so good. That was my thoughts on Blue Heron.

A beautiful story!

Blue Heron is a beautiful story of otimism and hope that is sure to leave the reader smiling long after finishing the final chapter!

A great book for all ages, a true escape to magic!

I loved the book, it touches the hearts of everyone with the drama portions of the story. Maggie helps the Blue Heron, the boy next door, her father, and most of all herself.
