Did not get what I ordered, still excited to read!

I was excited to receive this book because I’ve heard SO many great things, however I received the Battlefield of the Mind: New Testament Bible instead of the 2 in 1 book, so I guess I’ll have to reorder and hope they send me the right one this time! Either way; I’m not excited to read the commentary.

Extremely helpful for everyday life

Practical advice to help with everyday life. Strongly suggest if you want to be victorious.

Spiritually great for your mind!

Therapist recommends

Mental health 101. I am a therapist. If this stuff were taught to kids in grade school I would be out of business! (Book is Christian in nature but fits into the science of neuropsychology like a hand in a glove.

Was in excellent condition minus a lil bend on the front! Thank you!!

Got Here Fast And The Book Is In Great Shape!!

Love it

Everyone should read it, but... A Christian who knows God will appreciate this book so very much. It is so deeply meaningful in so many, many ways to a Christian. It is a wonderful book. The references to scripture are perfect everywhere they are. It can be read over and over and be a help to you every time. This book means much to me.

I ordered this after hearing so much good and positivity and change that had come to those who have read it. My life has definitely been increased by this book and I will continue to re-read it. She points to so many battles in our minds. She then takes our fleshly issues and explains further into how our thinking has been changed without realizing it. She enlightens a great deal that needs attention.

a must read

Still reading it bought it three times and passed it around to family and my girlfriend soon to be wife.

Great resource!

I ordered both the book and the workbook. This was my first book I've read by joyce. I'm certain I'll read more and definitely look this one over a few more times. I think this book can be for any person. Either long time Christian to a new Christian.

awesome book by an awesome author

excellent book that helps shed light on the battlefield of the mind-----very helpful and gave me insight ----strongly recommend this

Inspirational, spiritual, knowldegable and the truth.

In our everyday life, we face different perspectives, emotions, experiences that lead us to either breaking us to pieces or making us stronger. “Battlefield of the Mind” is and can be related to our daily life. It is Bible based. It is inspirational and I highly recommend for daily devotional. Slowly developing stronger through faith by learning the words, renewing the mind and choosing the right paths (right thinking.) The book gives bibles verses, examples and experiences of how Joyce Meyer’s encountered situations in her life. Dealing with circumstances and how the bible verses helped her understood the situations and being able to manipulate them correctly. She also deciphered the bible verses for us to understand them more, shared opinions, points of views, teachings and steps to help or improve ourselves. Letting us getting to understand more about the “importance of thoughts.” It’s a spiritual growth and understanding to how God works in our life. I feel likeJoyce Meyer really did a great job on portraying the bible verses and making them into applications and more understandable. Before and after reading: I was facing difficulties with every aspect of thinking. I couldn’t clear my mind and just think straight. I’m thinking of thinking something while thinking of another thing. It was confusing and is a battlefield on the mind. I was so happy to have gotten and read this book. It’s a spiritual growth book so I didn’t want to just read and finish the whole book at once. I made it a daily devotional. 1-3 chapters per day. During my reading I felt knowing and understanding more of how and why things are like that. The bible verses, Joyce’s words, examples and explanations are expressed precisely. Not just by KNOWING THE TRUTH but by doing and following them to making life better. Over all: before reading I felt empty or hungry. But after finishing the book, I felt full, equipped, knowledgable and spiritually optimistic. “You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind.” 3 words: About the book -Reflective -Lessons -The truth 3 words: Me after reading -Transformed -Optimistic -Overcome My favorite words, mottos or sentences: “The mind is the leader or forerunner of all actions.” “Importance of thoughts.” “Think what you’re thinking about.” “God’s word, the truth will set you free.” “Right thinking is vital to victorious living.” “If you don’t expect anything good to happen, the you won’t be disappointed when it doesn’t.” “Hope is the anchor of the soul.” “Wilderness mentality.” “You become what you think.” If you are facing problems, obstacles, painful situations, regrets, depression, negativity, etc... I recommend this book.

Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind

I got this book to read with my husband each night and provide us a perspective before we close our day with prayer. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Joyce will honestly change your life!

"Think about what you're thinking about"

Clearly written and biblically based, Joyce Meyer lays out the principles to stop the negativity in one's thinking, from the endless loop of senseless chatter that drifts through the mind to the ingrained fragments of resentment that might have festered for years, to the "wilderness mentality" that sets up road blocks to what the Lord wants us to do. The advice she gives is to the point and easily understood, and if one is willing, easily implemented too. It is ideal for anyone starting out on the Christian path and also has invaluable reminders for those who have been whittling the chaff away from the wheat for years, as there is always a corner of our minds that can use a little extra sweeping. "You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind" (pg. 12)." Joyce Meyer cites many personal stories to illustrate her points with much honesty, and describes the tools she used to combat her personal battles of the mind and achieve balance in her life; Mental discipline of course is a never-ending battle, making the advice in this book (which can be applied to any faith) useful for our own well-being, as well as reflect in our relationships. "People living in the vanity of their own mind not only destroy themselves, but far too often, they bring destruction to others around them" (pg. 278). Depression, confusion, doubt, fear, anxiety, "a judgmental, critical and suspicious mind", are all states that hold happiness and peace away from us, and the cure starts with self-observation and the renewal of the mind. Let Joyce help make the crooked path of one's daily thoughts straight with this well written and insightful book.

El campo de battalla de la mente

El campo de batalla de la mente, is a wonderful book. Ocassionaly as christian people we can think that we are perfect and that all we have to do is to pray and persevere. The Bible says that our "struggle is not against flesh and blood...but against the power of the dark world and against spiritual forces", therefore our battles will be spirituals. When I read this book I could realized that our behavior is showing "who" is winning our inside battle and why we should give God the opportunity to struggle instead of us and through our lifes. I suggest that this book should be read more than once, really.

This book is one of the most powerful, life-changing books that I have ever read. I am "dissecting" it now for the second time this month to make sure that I didn't miss anything. My attitudes, moods and thoughts have changed dramatically. I've begun to think about what I'm thinking about and I'm not allowing Satan to use my brain for his playground. The great part about it is that it is also changing my husband, and two teenage sons, and they haven't even read it! Obviously it is my thoughts towards them and our circumstances that are changing and now our life together is much more peaceful and stress free! Thank you Joyce. I was working on a study format in order to teach this to the teenagers at church. I'm glad to see that the study guide will be coming out in June. I'll be waiting.
